How to use Avidemux:
1.) Install Avidemux in your pc,
2.) Open Avidemux ..(save the image to zoom)
3.)now add the video
4.)Now you had to choose the video format
5.)Now choosing effects like re-size.adding color to video cropping .sharpness.click on the filters
double click on the effects and close the filter window..after finishing the filter work now save the video by going to file >save >save video ..
after saving the video you must rename the output file as name.mpeg or name.avi (.mpeg, .avi etc are the extensions ,you can give any extension).

why should we give the extension means, because the output file looks like file so we have to give the extension to the video file..
with out giving the file name as .name.avi you can not play the video..
